I will depart from London for a motorcycle journey through France towards the Basque Country, through the Massif Central and the Pyrenees, then back to London via the French West Cost, through the Loire Valley and Normandy.

I’m actually trying to live a 16 days CouchSurfing experiment: meaning that I’m trying to be hosted every night by a different CouchSurfer Host.

It’s my aim to meet people that could introduce me to the beauties of their region, suggest good wines, enjoy short sightseers together, or simply have a chat about our life, travels and dreams.

I am a food lover and I seek for culinary experiences, France as so much to offer, but I admit my ignorance on French food, and I will be definitively be grateful if you want to introduce me to your favourite dish.

I also know that the Basque Country is home of some food innovators and that San Sebastian is one of the international capitals of food and I am eager to try the famous ‘pintxos’!

I will be glad if any other biker intend to join in parts of the route.

I seek for hospitality in the following cities (or nearby areas):

Saturday 7th: Paris
Sunday 8th: Vichy
Monday 9th: Aurillac
Tuesday 10th: Toulouse

Wednesday 11th: Puigcerda
Thursday 12th: Aragnouet
Friday 13th: Isaba

Saturday 14th and
Sunday 15th: San Sebastian [or Bilbao] (2 nights possibly)

Monday 16th: Bordeaux
Tuesday 17th: Nantes
Wednesday 18th: Orleans
Thursday 19th: St. Malo
Friday 20th: Cherbourg
Saturday 21st: Le Havre / Rouen

NOTE:
I will be traveling an average of 300km per day and I generally will be arriving at the destination around 5 or 6 pm each day, except a few days where I chose a shorter journey to have more rest.
In any case I am happy to adapt the traveling times according to the needs of my hosts.
